Italian restaurant on the main street in Cabourg. Can get very busy during the tourist seasons. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Really good pizza and food generally.

Extremely busy in Cabourg today. Gridlock on the way in. We had pre selected L'Olivier so went straight there. It looked almost full and we were politely told to wait outside. When we said we didn't have a reservation I thought we would be laughed at! Incredibly we got called in shortly afterwards and given a table. The staff were super friendly and quickly attended to us. We all ordered pizza and I'm not kidding, it came out in about 10 minutes which was a (very pleasant) surprise given how busy the place was. The pizza was superb. Nothing else to say. Full marks all round - thank you!

After we had a terrible experience at a previous place sitting there for over 30 minutes before we heard they don’t serve until a certain time, we decided to check out L’Olivier. Immediately upon entering at around 6:15, we were informed the kitchen doesn’t open until 6:30. We were totally okay with that and were able to be seated and ordered drinks. My husband and I both ordered and enjoyed the bolognese lasagna. We thought it was 4/5, cheesy and hot! It came with bread on the side and that was also quite soft. We both ordered desserts and thought they were also quite delicious!!
